We love when our furry friends visit, we only ask that you be respectful of other guests, clean up after them and observe leash laws when here.

No, prior boating experience is not required in order to rent a pontoon boat. Our pontoon boats are very easy to use and our waters are easy to navigate. There is land on both sides of the bay and the waters are quite shallow. We provide top of the line vessels and you won’t find a nicer boat rental around Destin or Fort Walton Beach.

However, if you were born ON or AFTER Jan. 1, 1988, and want to operate a boat in Florida you are required to have a NASBLA approved Boating Safety Certificate.

If you need a Boating Safety Certificate but do not have one, Florida offers a 90 day temporary certificate which can be obtained HERE. We highly recommend taking this short test before arriving so you don’t miss your adventure.

Yes, you can rent our pontoon boats to reach Crab Island, as well as the entire Destin and Fort Walton Beach area. Destiny Water Adventures is only a short boat ride to Crab Island, about 25-30 minute  along the scenic Gulf Island National Seashore.

Yes. Food and drinks are absolutely allowed on the boats, and we actually provide coolers for you! Just keep in mind that Florida’s law requires boat operators to remain under .08 blood alcohol level. If you need a designated driver we also have Captains for hire, or a DD, just call and we can set you up to get back safely!

There are also vendors near Crab Island that provide food and beverages, and there are some great restaurants along the shore you can dock at to grab a bite while out on the water, just ask our friendly crew for some recommendations!

No, fuel is included when you rent a pontoon boat with Destiny Water Adventures. We include more than enough fuel to last the whole day on the water!

Even as a master captain of ten years I would feel unsafe attempting an ocean voyage on a small craft. The waters in the Gulf near Destin and the East Pass can get very rough and high seas make ocean attempts extremely dangerous.

Crab Island not actually an island, but is a large sandbar that was once an island.

Over the years it became destination for many boaters to come, anchor up with like minded individuals and enjoy a day playing in the shallow waters just outside of Destin Harbor.

We have all necessary Coast Guard approved life jackets and floatation devices that come included with your pontoon boat rental. We have life jackets for both children and adults available for you.

No, tubing or towing is not allowed with a boat rentals. These boats are not designed for those activities.

No. We have free parking right at our private dock where you will pick up your boat. No traffic. No lines. No dragging your stuff for a mile down a crowded dock.

Boat renters must be at least 18 years old with valid photo I.D. and major credit card. This is required, and there are no exceptions to this rule.

Drivers born after Jan 1st, 1988 must obtain a boaters safety card. You may obtain one here, we highly recommend taking the test before coming so you don’t miss your adventure. The test is relatively easy and you can take it until you pass!

In order to operate a motorboat of ten (10) horsepower or greater, Florida law requires anyone who was born ON or AFTER Jan. 1, 1988 to successfully complete a NASLBA approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Certificate.

Destiny Water Adventures does not operate in unsafe weather conditions, but a light rain shower is not a deterrent. If you would prefer not to go out when it is cloudy or in a light drizzle we recommend adding Booking FLEX to your reservation.

The Captain on duty will assess the weather and will determine if the conditions are safe to operate on the day of your trip.

If a trip is canceled by Destiny Water Adventures for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule it during your stay. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund. Every effort will be made to run tours as advertised. Should Destiny have to amend or alter your trip due to extraneous circumstances, tickets remain non-refundable on trips taken.

We understand that life happens so we have a no hassle 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to make changes or cancel your trip up to 48 hours before the start, we will make every effort to accommodate any changes or refund you in full for cancelations.

However, within 48 hours of your reservation all sales are considered final, and no-shows will charged in full.

If you are looking for more flexibility we do offer Booking FLEX as an additional option which would allow you make make changes or cancel for a refund (minus the Booking FLEX fee) up to the minute your trip was scheduled to start, no questions asked.

Operators(drivers) of the pontoon and/or jet ski must have a good understanding of the English language. This is a safety precaution due to the required safety briefings and the signs on the water.
